snack (11 am): green grapes
snack (1 pm): rice cakes
lunch (3 pm): chicken breast with steamed veggies

I woke up a little sore from my workout yesterday. A good sign, as I know I worked the right muscles!

Nutrition:
Breakfast (8am): Large Flake Oats with 1 scoop of protein powder, raisins, all bran and soy milk
Glass of orange juice
Snack (11 am): 1/2 green pepper, cucumber, 2 rice cakes
Lunch (2 pm): chicken breast with steamed asparagus, broccoli, green beans
Snack (4 pm): green grapes and baby cut carrots
Snack (7 pm): protein bar
Snack (9 pm): light microwave popcorn

Workout:
Just cardio today, 30 mins of walking 4.0 mph

My Initial Measurements/Results

I was somewhat humbled by my fitness results on Friday.
Here they are:
Resting HR: 66bpm
Weight: 166.6 lbs
BMI: 24.6
% Body Fat: 27%
Waist Circumference: 82 cm
Harvard Step Test: 40.8 (poor)

My Goals:
Weight: 155lbs
% Body Fat: 20%
Harvard Step Test: Good to Excellent

Day One:
Well, I enjoyed some chocolate chunk cookies before bed last night for the last time for a while :)
It is time to get down to business.

Nutrition:
breakfast (8am): large flake oats, 1 scoop of protein powder, a sprinkle of raisins and all bran, and some cinnamon;

snack (10am): grande skinny cinnamon dolce latte

snack (12pm): baby cut carrots and rice cakes

lunch (2:30 pm): grilled chicken wrap with mustard and fresh veggies, royal gala apple

snack (5:00 pm): green grapes and cucumber

dinner (8:30 pm): green salad with a can of salmon, olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing

Workout:
Chest workout - seated chest press, seated fly, seated incline press
20 mins cardio - 3.6 mph on the treadmill, 4.0 incline

Air Canada Biggest Loser Contest

The Biggest Loser Contest with Air Canada starts February 11, 2008. The last day to sign up is February 8.

I am going to be taking part in the process (not in the contest), because I would like to lose my last 10lbs of baby weight. My daughter is now just over 5 months old, and it's time for me to fit into all my old clothes!

I will be posting all of my daily workouts, as well as my diet. I invite all Biggest Loser Contestants to do the same!
